Facilities
Southbourne Canoe
Club (SCC) has use of the Christchurch Rowing Club facilities
based upon the banks of the River Stour. These facilities
include:
- Changing rooms
- Showers
- Bar (see below)
- River access
- Equipment storage
These facilities are available
for use by all members of Southbourne Canoe Club (both
temporary and permanent) on Thursday evenings. Access
at any other time will be considered for permanent
members only subject to permission being requested
and agreed in advance by Christchurch Rowing Club.
Clubhouse (Christchurch Rowing Club)
The SCC uses
the facilities provided by Christchurch Rowing Club
(see glossy photos below). A number of events
(TBD) are organised by the rowing club annually that
are open to SCC members. During the summer months
a BBQ is held on the terrace every Thursday evening.
